FRESH HANDMADE PASTA TROFIE AND CARAMELIZED TOMATOES SAUCE
Many have told me that they will cook and prepare pasta together with me at the same time. Well, if you want to try this adventure 😅, then get yourself also: cutting board, a small plastic bag (or film) to rest the pasta. A fairly large pan. A spider strainer or colander.
No Rolling pin, No pasta machine; everything handmade from scratch, few ingredients to get (2 people):
1 cup, 200gr semolina flour + a little bit more 1 pound, 500 gr cherry tomatoes
2 basil leaves
1 clove garlic
2 basil leaves
4 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
salt to taste

BISCOTTI CANTUCCINI FROM TUSCANY
Ingredients
- 1 lb, 4 cups, 500 gr all-purpose flour
- 2 3/4, 350 gr cups sugar
- 4 eggs
- 1/2 oz, 3 tsp, 14 gr baking powder
- 1 grated lemon zest
- 7 oz, 1 2/5 cups, 200 gr whole almonds
- 7 oz, 1,75 sticks, 200 gr no salted butter
- 2 tbsp honey
- 1 egg yolk
- 2 tbsp limoncello, marsala, vin santo (optional)
